Pool Service in DeWitt, NY

Pool Authority of CNY serves DeWitt from our home base in Manlius, just a few minutes to the east. DeWitt is one of the closest towns we cover, so scheduling is flexible: from the Erie Boulevard corridor to the neighborhoods off Jamesville Road, we are already driving past most DeWitt pools every week.

Weekly cleaning and water care
Our maintenance plans handle the routine work that keeps a DeWitt pool swim-ready: skimming, vacuuming, emptying baskets, testing and balancing the water, and cleaning or backwashing the filter as the filter type requires. If you already own a robot cleaner, ask about the plan that covers water testing, chemicals, and filter care while your robot does the vacuuming.

Openings and closings
In DeWitt, most pools open in late April or May and close between mid-September and late October, before the first hard freeze. An opening includes taking off and storing the cover, start-up chemicals, reinstalling the equipment, brushing, and shocking the pool. A closing includes closing chemicals, lowering the water, blowing out and capping the lines, winterizing the equipment pad, and installing the cover.

Equipment repair and inspections
We repair and replace pumps, filters, heaters, and automation systems from Pentair, Hayward, Jandy, and AutoPilot. If something is not running right between visits, send us the brand and model and a description of what you are seeing, and we will discuss the next step. We also offer pre-purchase pool inspections for anyone buying a DeWitt home with a pool.
